Unique Newborn Photoshoot Ideas
Want to make your newborn's photoshoot special? Of course, you do! Every newborn shoot is special in its own way, but sometimes parents want to try something unconventional, and at Precious Steps Photography we're all about that sort of thing! Here is a list of out-of-the-box ideas some of our favorite clients have chosen for their newborn photoshoots.
Fandom madness
Families often have certain movies, shows, or books that are extra close to their hearts. Let's incorporate that into your baby's shoot for a look that's extra unique! Can you figure out which fandoms these cuties are repping?
Young Sport
Rep your team whether it is basketball, football, baseball, soccer, or any other sport! Work with team colors, sports-related paraphernalia, or an actual jersey like Ishaan on the right is wearing. It might require some planning ahead of time, but the end result is so darn cute!
Personalize with their name
Sage, on the left, has a special look that complements her name. This idea can also work with other color names, nature names, and certain noun names. Baby doesn't have to have a name that fits in any of those categories to personalize it, though. Bring a personalized item to the shoot with either their name or initials on it, to give the shots a truly bespoke look.
'tis the season
Having a baby around a special holiday or season? Customize a look to celebrate the time of year they joined the family! Season's greetings never looked so adorable!
Honor a career or hobby
Choose a look that speaks to a parent's (or other relative's) career or hobby. These pictures are always hysterically funny as well as so meaningful. Mom's an artist? With a little Photoshop magic (and mom's permission) you can have an artistic creation displayed on a mini easel next to baby.
