What is a MIni-Session?
The decision to schedule a newborn photoshoot can be expensive and time-consuming. A newborn session at our studio can cost upwards of $2000 - often a significant investment for new parents. Moreover, to ensure we capture as many adorable photos as possible, even with the most challenging of babies, sessions can last over four hours. Typically, we set up around ten sets for visual variety and options in case the baby is very awake and needs to be wrapped. It's an all day activity with breaks to feed baby, change their diaper or simply give them time to be sleepy enough to get those sweet poses. We always get gorgeous pictures, but it usually takes a while. All this is to say that many might want another option that's less time consuming and less costly. Introducing.... MINI SESSIONS!
What To expect
Mini sessions are much shorter than regular sessions, usually around 1-2 hours, including the time it takes to view the gallery and order. Fewer sets are designed, and we often don't get to all of them because of the time crunch. We ask the parents to rate their favorite sets so we can do our best to get to the ones that are most important to mom and dad. Your Mini Session will include 2-4 looks and Parents choose whether they'd like to try to get to more newborn sets over family pictures. Of course, the mini sessions are also more affordable with no session fee and three awesome packages to choose from. Overall, the mini sessions focus on quality over quantity. You'll definitely get your gorgeous pictures, but there will be significantly less images to choose from than a regular session. Our ordering appointments take place immediately after the session, so you're able to get to choose your gallery right away. After post-production editing, you'll be emailed a link to your gallery where you can download and share your pictures.
What you get
As a general rule, we are an art-based studio and our aim is to produce beautiful pictures that will then be printed on something physical to take home, such as wall art, albums, etc. (plus digital copies of any images purchased for a product).
