Why is art so importanT?
This is a question that I once had myself. I mean, aren't the digitals all I need?
The more I produce art for my clients, the more I see how art-based photography is the biggest gift I can give. Yes, digitals are valuable and precious, but the art is what will bring so much more joy and positivity to your life. Read on to discover why art is so beneficial to you and your family.
1. It boosts your Child's self-esteem
According to Dr. David Krauss, a psychologist from Cleveland Ohio, seeing photos that present safety, protection, and love in a family setting helps to increase a child's self-esteem. It provides them with a feeling that they belong, they are loved and cared for. He even suggests that pictures of the child should be hung in his/her bedroom for the child to see it before he/she goes to sleep.
Obviously, the best way for children to see photos of themselves and their family is when they are displayed in the home. It's basically an easy and beautiful way to constantly show your kids that you love them, that they are safe and cherished.

2.Art outlasts technology
Think back- not long ago, everyone knew what a floppy disk is. Now, if you're reading this and thinking, "um... what's that?" you've proven my point. Technology is dynamic and always changing.
Of course, there are ways to protect your digitals by upgrading your technology as it changes, but nothing is guaranteed. Nothing is tangible. For example, in the past, Google has shut down people's accounts for different reasons, so even that is not completely in your control. Some people lost extremely precious memories that way.
I began to appreciate the importance of heirloom quality products when my father showed me pictures of his relatives in Russia from the mid 1800's. That picture below still exists in it's printed form! It connects me to my past and far-outlasts any digital image that easily gets lost in the flood of technology.
